TACO CORNBREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 can cream style corn
1 lb. ground meat
Taco seasoning
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped bell peppers
1 c. grated cheese

Brown ground meat and season according to package directions. Set aside.

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup milk together. Stir real good. Add 1/2 can cream corn to this mixture. Place hot grease in skillet. Layer a thin layer of cornmeal in bottom of skillet, then taco meat, onions, bell pepper and cheese. End with a layer of cornmeal on top. Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown.
