MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 can cream corn
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 lg. onion
1 lb. hamburger meat
8 oz. cheese
Jalapenos

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix and set aside cornmeal, eggs, cream corn, soda, milk, butter. Brown hamburger meat with onion. Drain grease. Pour half of top mixture in bottom of 9 x 11 inch dish. Layer with cheese and jalapeno. Top mixture again with another layer of cheese. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
