LIMA BEAN BAKE 
1 lb. dried lima beans
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp. fat
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. lima cooking liquid
Dash poultry seasoning

Wash beans and soak overnight in 2 quarts water. Simmer in same water until tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Season beans with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt after first half hour of cooking. Drain and place in casserole reserving 1/2 cup lima cooking liquid.

Cook meat and onion in hot fat, stirring until lightly browned. Add Hunt's tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Pour while still hot over the beans. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees 1 hour or until bubbly hot.
