EASY OVEN BAKED SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in pieces
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped carrots
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine flour and salt. Pound 1 tablespoon of flour mixture into each piece of steak. Brown meat in hot oil. Put pieces in baking dish. Blend 2 tablespoons flour into the pan drippings in skillet. Stir in the tomatoes, celery, carrots and Worcestershire sauce and stir until mixture is thickened. Pour over meat in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until meat is tender.

This has been my "go-to" Swiss steak recipe for as long as I can remember!!!!! Easy, and DELICIOUS! Serve with mashed potatoes.

This is EXCELLENT! The only change I made was to use a can of stewed tomatoes instead of regular. And I did bake it a little longer. Tastes just like my Mom's recipe from 40 years ago. SO good!
