Oven Baked Cube Steak

I never write reviews, but I was so impressed with how this turned out, I had to let everyone know. I did not cut the cube steak into piece (because I was rushed for time), and since I had no cooking sherry, I just added 1/2 cup red and 1/2 cup white wine. I cooked it at 350°F for 2 hrs (again because of time) and it turned out GREAT. I served over brown rice. If I can find reduced sodium soup next time I will use that for health reasons. The sauce was thick and the steaks were tender... YUM!

I love this Baked Cube Steak recipe, but I cannot have wine. Can you possibly use something else to replace the wine? Thanks!

I made this for my husband with a few modifications. I used beef broth, sliced fresh mushrooms and onions, and venison cubed steak. Floured and fried the steak before baking. It was delicious!!!!
