SWISS PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

ICING:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar

Mix together the first 6 ingredients, stir until well blended. Add vanilla and nuts, mix again. Bake at 350°F in greased and lightly floured cake pan for 35 minutes.

After cake has cooled, blend all three ingredients for icing until smooth and creamy. Ice the cake.
