APPLELESS PIE 
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
22 soda or Ritz crackers
Cinnamon
Butter
1 pie shell, unbaked

STRUDLE TOPPING:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. flour

Bring to a boil 2 cups of water, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 2 teaspoons cream of tartar. Add 22 soda crackers or Ritz crackers. Cook 2 minutes without stirring; cool. Place in an unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon, dot with butter. Mix strudle topping until it feels crumbly, sprinkle on pie. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce oven to 300 degrees. Bake 20 minutes longer.
