STUFFED ACORN SQUASH 
2 acorn squash, cut in halves
2 pork sausage patties
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
1 c. water

Break up sausage patties and brown slowly, stirring constantly. When partially done, add onions and saute until done. Season to taste and add bread crumbs. Fill squash halves with filling and put in a baking pan. Then add water to bottom of pan; cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
