STUFFED ACORN SQUASH 
2 acorn squash
1 c. stewed tomatoes
3/4 lb. ground beef (or venison)
1 onion, chopped
1/4-1/2 lb. Muenster cheese, shredded
1 can mushrooms
1 green pepper, cut into pieces
Pinch of sugar
Salt, pepper & parsley to taste
Garlic & oregano to taste

Cut squash in half and remove seeds. Place pulp side up in a frying pan with about 3/4" water in bottom. Cover and cook until squash is done, it doesn't take long.

Meanwhile, fry hamburger; add green pepper and onion, mushrooms and season with sugar and spices. Add tomatoes and stir in cheese.

Fill in hole in squash with hamburger mixture. Heat in oven 10 to 12 minutes.
