FOUR LAYER DELIGHT 
LAYER ONE:

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. ground or broken walnuts, chopped fine

Mix all ingredients like a pie crust. Press into bottom of 13"x9"x2" pan. Bake 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool.

LAYER TWO:

12 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Mix ingredients together and pour over crumb crust. Pat down evenly over crust.

LAYER THREE:

1 (5 oz.) box vanilla pudding
1 (3 oz.) box vanilla pudding
4 1/2 c. milk

Combine milk and pudding and cook until thick. Cool. Spread cooled pudding over second layer.

LAYER FOUR:

1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1/2 c. broken walnuts
5-6 maraschino cherries

Spread Cool Whip on top of pudding layer. Wipe juice off maraschino cherries, then slice into small pieces. Sprinkle dessert with nuts and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate for 8 hours before serving. Cut into squares to serve. Makes about 16 to 20 servings.
