2 cooking apples, peeled, cored, sliced

Butter 1 quart casserole and add apples. Beat 1 cup milk with:

2 eggs
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Pour mixture over apples. Bake in 350 degree oven until custard is set, about 45 minute. Serve warm or cold.
