HOWARD'S BROWN STONE FRONT CAKE 
1 c. ground dark Hershey's chocolate
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk

2 c. flour (soft silk)
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
Chocolate sprinkles

Mix together chocolate, 1 cup water and 1/2 c. sugar, and cook very little. While this is cooling, cream together 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 eggs and 1/2 cup milk. Sift 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 2 teaspoons baking powder. Mix all together then 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Bake in 2 pans, after cooking cut layers in half. Mix 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 3/4 cup butter and a little warm milk. Frost layer and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. The older this cake is the better it gets, so it can be made up ahead of time.
