1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. ground raisins

FROSTING:

2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. coconut

Mix in order given. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. Mix frosting, put on cake and broil until brown.
