CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream butter, shortening and sugar until soft. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Set aside. Add eggs, one at a time, to butter mixture. Add flour mixture, alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Mix well. Put in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until tests done.
