CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
5 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add flour, sifted with other dry ingredients. Add milk alternately with dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Pour into greased, floured pan. Bake 1 hour, 20 minutes at 300 degrees. NOTE: Read instructions carefully before you start.
