GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 pkg. German chocolate
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter flavoring
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Partly melt chocolate over hot water. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, flavoring, buttermilk. Sift soda, salt and flour. Add chocolate last. Pour into 9 inch well greased tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Loosen and remove immediately and cover.

GLAZE:

1 pkg. German chocolate
1 tbsp. butter

Melt in 1/2 cup water. Mix:

1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

If too thick, add more water.
