PORK CHOPS BAKED WITH SOUR CREAM 
4 loin pork chops, cut 1/2 inch thick
4 cloves
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. water
Flour

Season chops with salt and pepper, dredge with flour. Brown chops in small amount of hot oil. Insert 1 clove in each chop. Place chops in casserole. Add water, bay leaf, sugar, vinegar and sour cream. Bake covered about 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Remove cloves and bay leaf before serving. Serves 4.
