First time I have ever tried white gravy and it came out fantastic. I made mine quite peppered with a dash of hot sauce, using smart balance and 1% milk and yum, just awesome, much better than what i've had out, thick, creamy, delicious

Can't believe I finally made a decent gravy at the age of 50. Winter night, nothing else sounded good for dinner. Diced up some ham, added it to the recipe, served over toast, delicious. Not a big gravy fan normally but this...I will make again.

Great recipe! I needed something quick for my Christmas morning biscuits, and this was perfect. I subbed smart balance for butter and used 1 cup of vegetable broth and one cup of almond milk instead of 2 1/2 cups reg milk. The result was a rich and creamy white gravy that everyone loved, including my in laws, who usually make their gravy with half and half and the juice from the roast. Success!

I don't cook at all except for prepared or frozen foods, but wanted to try this recipe as it looked pretty easy. I am amazed and proud of how good it turned out. Much better than any canned gravy I have eaten from the store. Thanks.

I just made this gravy, and it was really good. I did make 1 1/2 times as much by adding 50% to all the ingredients. I do want to ask, why would anyone use canned biscuits with home made gravy. Yep, I made them too. :)

This is a delicious gravy that I use for different veggies also. Like creamed cauliflower or spinach. When I use it for chicken I add some white wine....great

I love this recipe. I could never get my grandma's right. Always either have too much flour taste or too thin...this is PERFECT!! I add sausage for a breakfast sausage gravy, and my boys love this!! Even on homemade mashed potatoes, THIS IS AMAZING!!!

Not exactly what I was looking for. I used almond milk and had not cooked it before, but I still think the problem I have is that there is too much butter and not enough flour. I should have stuck with water so that I could be sure the color and smell isn't almond milk related. (My personal opinion).

Great gravy! A keeper to my list of recipes! Used bisquick to make the biscuits.
