GROUND BEEF AND MUSHROOM
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 pkg. beef Rice-A-Roni
1/2 onion, chopped
1/4 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 can sliced mushrooms (undrained)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated

Brown beef; add uncooked Rice-A-Roni. Cook until rice mixture is light brown. Add 2 cups hot water and the Rice-A-Roni seasoning packet. Stir well; let simmer 10 minutes. Add sautéed onions and pepper. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mushrooms and soup. Mix well. Top with cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes in large greased casserole, uncovered.
