HUNGARIAN HOT POT STEW 
3 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. dehydrated onions
1 pkg. dehydrated sweet peppers
2 cans tomato soup
4 sm. cans Campbell's pork & beans
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground beef; put into 1 large pot with all the above ingredients. Mix well, stirring occasionally until hot and bubbly. Great for camping or large family gatherings.

This is the classic old 1960's Girl Scout recipe for Hungarian Hot Pot that we made on every camping trip with numerous troops in Michigan for years. We, however, used fresh onions and green peppers and sauteed them up front with the hamburger.
