For those complaining about the gravy being too thin: don't you know how to cook? Let it simmer for longer until it is the consistency that you want.

This is actually a recipe for white sauce. If you can do this you will be able to make gravy. All you do is stir the flour into the grease after you fry a skillet full of meat like sausage, pork chops, chicken.

I've had this recipe bookmarked for years, like 8 years! It's the best recipe and so easy. It fills my southern biscuit and gravy loving heart.

Add a slice - of "canned corned beef - shredded". Is excellent. Guess this could then be a quick SOS.

I love milk gravy. I used it and added caramelized onions and mushrooms to the gravy for a fabulous flavor! Try it! You'll love it!

Amazing!!! I used Gluten Free (GF) Jules flour, made buttermilk with the added tip, and they rose like regular biscuits! They also had a nice brown top and bottom with a soft, chewy middle. Thank you!!

Freaked out for a minute cause it turned to paste before the milk was added but don't worry, turned out amazing on our chicken fried steaks!

Not bad for a first try, used 3/4 cups homemade almond milk (halving the flour and butter), next time will use less milk since it's just the two of us. Also I need to add more salt n pepper, and hopefully sausage to satisfy my Bob Evan's biscuits and gravy cravings!

My 88 year old mother wanted some gravy and she's been somewhat weak lately so I decided I would try to make it. I've never made gravy before in my life, all 69 years of it. I decided to look for a simple recipe on the internet and ran into this one. It was great! She loved it and I'm making more today. Thanks so much.
