I just tried this great recipe - so simple - excellent results! The only alteration I made was placing the wedges into muffin tins so they would bake more uniformly. The best scones I've ever had - will definitely use this again.

I made 2 batches of these scones this weekend. My first batch seemed to taste more like biscuits, even though I sprinkled some raw sugar on top prior to baking. On my second batch, I added 1/2 c of sugar. They are sweeter, but still not as much as I would like. Maybe 3/4 c would be better? Otherwise, wonderful recipe!

What a great recipe! These scones turned out light and delicious all three times I made them. Love that there isn't any cold butter to cut-in, and no special items to purchase, like buttermilk or cream. I tried fresh raspberries for the first batch and lemon zest and dried cranberries for the other two batches I've made (these were the best flavor combo, I thought). Easy to put together - this is recipe to keep. Thank you!

Good recipe, but I must warn everyone: these things expand a LOT when they bake. If you have a small to medium sized cookie sheet it's best to put only four on at a time, or else they'll all bake into a single scone like mine did! Tasted fine though :P

This recipe was so easy, I will make this again and again. The fact that you do not need any special ingredients makes this one a keeper. My family loved them! The only change I made was sprinkling sugar on top prior to baking. Next time I may even try cutting them smaller. These are huge when they come out of the oven.

I've tried this recipe, and wow, they turned out to be very delicious! Also, what I loved about these scones is that they were very easy to make and I like how I had every ingredient at home so no run in stop by at grocery stores. Very good recipe 10/10.

This recipe was pretty good! I made half of the batch because I wasn't sure how I would like it, and even put 3 tbsp. of sugar and it still wasn't sweet enough, without the blueberries it would have tasted pretty bland.

My children loved it, however, it could've been a little sweeter and I would add a hint of vanilla.

The scones didn't rise much at all and took 30 minutes to cook. Never browned on top, bottom kind of crunchy.

I drizzle icing on mine, very good! (1 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup powdered sugar)

Having read the comments beforehand, I decided to add half a cup of sugar. I thought there was too much butter, as the batter was more cakelike and there was no way I was going to be able to roll it out and cut into pieces before baking. Also because of this, I decided to add the entire container of blueberries, which was about one cup. I instead put into a square Pyrex dish lined with wax paper and baked for 30 minutes. It came out more like a blueberry cobbler, but it was good.

I made this using dried blueberries. I added some vanilla paste as well as a tiny bit if almond. It was really good.
