BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
4 slices of bread
2 slices of cheese
Salt & pepper
Butter
2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
Sausage, bacon or ham (opt.)

Tear bread into pieces, put into buttered baking dish or sprayed 8" square cake pan. Tear cheese into pieces, put on top of bread. Next layer use crumbled meat if desired. Mix milk, eggs and seasonings, beating well. Pour mixture over bread, cheese and meat. Let stand in refrigerator 3 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: breakfast for 2 to 3.

This recipe is very versatile. Use your favorite bread, type of cheese and/or breakfast meat. Double or triple recipe for a family.
