Love this recipe and it's so easy. I usually put it in the slow cooker on low for a few hours and you can substitute cream of mushroom soup instead of the chicken soup....yummy!!!

Love this recipe. Sometimes I even use half cream of chicken and half cream of potato. And another thing i've done before when I melt the butter I also take some bacon fat and add it to the melted butter and mix it around until it dissolves. Great flavor.

This is an easy, yummy recipe! I put crushed french onions on top instead of the potato chips or crushed corn flakes and I pour the melted butter over the top instead of mix it in. yummy!

We do not totally thaw the potatoes, but you have to mix them with your hand and it gets cold. We also add a can of cream of celery soup and a mix of cheddar and Jack cheese. We use 2 bunches of green onions instead of a white onion, and quite a bit of pepper. It is also good with green chilies, but you have to drain them. Also, you need just a few more potatoes if you use both soups, unless you half them. People love it when we take it to events, and always say it has more flavor than most of the ones they usually eat.
