FRANK POTATO CHOWDER | |
2 c. diced raw potato 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables (can use fresh) 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 2 chicken bouillon cubes 3/4 tsp. salt 5-6 wieners 1/4 c. flour 1/8 tsp. white pepper 3 c. milk 2 tbsp. butter In saucepan, combine potato, vegetables, onion, parsley, bouillon cubes and salt. Add 1 cup water. (Optional if fixed in crock pot.) Bring to boiling. Cover and boil gently for 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. If in crock pot, turn on low and cook all day. Add franks (ham is good also) about 1 hour before eating. Blend flour, pepper, milk. Stir in vegetables. |
