FRANKLY PEPPERED POTATO BAKE 
1 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 med. green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
3 c. diced pared potatoes
1-2 tsp. caraway seeds, optional
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1 can cream of potato soup w/about 1/3 c. milk
1 lb. cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1" slices

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook potatoes until almost done. (They shouldn't fall apart.) Cook and stir onion in butter until tender. Mix gently all ingredients and pour into oblong dish 11 x 7 inches. (Can add 1 cup shredded cheese if desired on top.) Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes.
