POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
4 qt. freshly popped corn

Boil corn syrup with sugar and cream of tartar until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and soda. Pour over popped corn, let cool. Shape into balls. Makes about 16 balls.
