BISCOTTI 
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. anise
1 tsp. lemon rind and juice
1 heaping tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. brandy
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 1/3 c. flour

Mix all together. Form in four loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut and re-bake at 400 degrees until brown.
