HOLIDAY BISCOTTIS 
12 rounded tsp. baking powder
12 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. fresh milk + 1/2 c. canned milk
8 eggs
12 rounded tbsp. Crisco
2 cubes butter
4 c. sugar
4 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco, butter and sugar. Sift together the flour and salt 2 times. Add flour, baking powder and salt and blend until mixture is like a coarse meal. Make hole in center of flour mixture in bowl and add beaten eggs and milk and vanilla. Dough should be quite firm. Take a section of dough and roll into a 1/2" thick roll. Cut into 1 1/2" lengths. Place on baking sheet with space between and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes or until just golden brown.

Frost with powdered sugar icing in holiday colors and decorate with nuts or coconut by pressing iced cookie into decoration foods. This is a large recipe. Yield: 20 dozen.
