STEAMED STRAWBERRY PUDDING 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 to 3/4 c. frozen berries or strawberry jam
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. sugar

Cream butter, add eggs and beat, add dry ingredients and fruit.

Grease 2 quart mold and steam for 1 1/2 hours.

Serve with sauce.

SAUCE:

Melt 1/2 cup butter.

Add 1 cup confectioner's sugar.

Fold in 1 stiffly beaten egg white.

Add 1 cup fruit or jam.
