CRANBERRY STEAMED PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. cranberries
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cut cranberries once and add to flour. Measure 1/2 cup molasses in a 1-cup measure. Add soda and fill cup at once with hot water. Add to cranberry and flour mixture. Stir. Put into a quart-size tin. Cover. Put into a steamer and steam for 2 hours.

To serve: Cut into slices and pour sauce over top. Serve warm.
