CANDY BAR CAKE 
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 (7 oz.) Hershey chocolate bar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. salt
1 cup broken pecans
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Melt the chocolate bar in the top of a double boiler (or use microwave to melt) with 1/4 cup of the butter. Add chocolate to the egg mixture. Add soda to the buttermilk; fold in buttermilk mixture and flour alternately by hand. Stir in salt, nuts, and vanilla. Pour into a 10-inch tube pan, greased and floured.

Bake at 325°F for 90 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
