SECRET INGREDIENT CHILI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. minced onion 1/3 c. minced green bell pepper 2 tsp.. chili powder 1 medium clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp.. salt 1 (16 oz.) can pinto or kidney beans, drained 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped 2 tbsp. A1 Steak Sauce In a large skillet, cook and crumble meat till almost browned. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Continue cooking till meat is browned and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 1 quart (4 servings). Submitted by: Karen LaValley |
