SAUSAGE & EGG CASSEROLE | |
4 c. plain croutons 2 c. grated cheddar cheese 8 slightly beaten eggs Dash of pepper 1/2 lb. sausage 4 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Mix eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper, dry mustard and garlic powder together and pour over croutons in a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Top with browned sausage. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, then increase oven to 400 degrees for 10 to 15 more minutes or until casserole is set. 8 slices of crumbled bacon may be substituted for sausage. |
