SAUSAGE & EGG CASSEROLE 
4 c. plain croutons
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
8 slightly beaten eggs
Dash of pepper
1/2 lb. sausage
4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Mix eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper, dry mustard and garlic powder together and pour over croutons in a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Top with browned sausage. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, then increase oven to 400 degrees for 10 to 15 more minutes or until casserole is set.

8 slices of crumbled bacon may be substituted for sausage.

I loved this with the exception of adding the cheese in with the eggs and milk. When doing this the cheese sink to the bottom of the bowl resulting in clumps of cheese. I feel it may be better to sprinkle the cheese over the eggs "after" pouring the mixture on the croutons. Just a thought.
