APRICOT BREAD 
1 c. dried apricots
1/2 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 c. pecans, chopped

Chop apricots into small pieces and put into the hot water to soak. Sift dry ingredients together. Add eggs. Stir in sour cream and pecans. Add soaked apricots, undrained. Divide between two greased loaf pans. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees.
