MY MOTHER-IN-LAW'S HASH 
1 to 1 1/2 c. leftover beef
1 med. onion, sliced or chopped
Salt and pepper
1 c. meat stock (beef and pork is great)
8-10 potatoes, quartered and sliced

Cut beef in bite size chunks.

Mix all ingredients in a 4 or 5 quart pot. Add enough water to almost cover the food. When almost cooked sprinkle in about 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

I usually bake or roast beef and pork together and save the stock and freeze it. Also good to make soup.
