SOUTHERN HASH 
1 tbsp. shortening
2 c. chopped leftover meat
1 1/2 c. gravy
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. diced, cooked potatoes
Salt & pepper

Melt shortening in a saucepan over low heat. Add chopped onions and cook until tender and light brown, stirring as they cook. Add meat, potatoes and gravy and stir. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens some. Stir often to prevent sticking.

Serves 6.
