WILD RICE A LA ORANGE 
Orange juice and peel enhance this flavorful wild rice combination. Enjoy it with meat or poultry dishes.

1/2 c. wild rice, rinsed
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 c. (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 c. sliced celery
2 tsp. grated fresh orange peel
1/4 c. fresh orange juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Combine rice, water, and bouillon in 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole. Cover with casserole lid.

Microwave (high) 4 to 5 minutes or until boiling. Then microwave (low - 30%) 30 to 35 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. With full power in microwave 4 to 5 minutes until boiling. Then use intervals of 5 minutes standing time and 3 minutes microwave for a total of 35 to 40 minutes.

Combine onion, mushrooms and celery in 4-cup microwave-safe measure.

Microwave (high), uncovered, 5 to 6 minutes or until tender-crisp, stirring once. Add to wild rice along with orange peel, juice, salt and pepper. Mix lightly. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
