FATHER'S DAY STEAK 
3 - 4 lb. London Broil
1/2 c. sherry
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. oil
1/8 tsp. hot sauce
Marinade sauce
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. sliced scallions

Cook in all ingredients for 10 minutes; cool. Place steak in bag with marinade for 2 1/2 hours. Reserve marinade for sauce. Broil meat for 25 to 40 minutes for rare-medium. Brush with marinade, slice thin. Sauce - stir cornstarch in to little water, add to remaining marinade. Bring to a boil and add mushrooms and scallions.
