MY FATHER'S ROASTED CORN | |
Number of ears desired To be cooked outdoors over an open wood fire. Remove husks. Place ears on a slightly slanted grill over a hot fire. After a minute or so move bottom ear to top and roll others down. Repeat this until all ears are quite well blackened. Remove from fire; each lucky individual spreads with butter and salt as desired and enjoy. If there are any ears leftover, take the kernels off the cobs and freeze for winter enjoyment. |
