STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
dash salt
1 c. water
3 tbsp. light Karo syrup

Mix and bring to a boil. Boil until it turns clear and thick. Remove from heat. Add 3 tablespoons dry strawberry jello. Mix well and let cool. Meanwhile, fill a baked pie crust with fresh strawberries. Slowly pour cool glaze over strawberries. Chill well.
