EASY PIZZA CRUST 
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. shortening

Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large bowl. Let set a few minutes and stir to mix. Add salt, shortening, and enough flour to make a stiff dough. Lift dough out and grease bowl; put back into bowl. Let rise 15 minutes or so.

Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan and spread with dough, working carefully. Add filling and bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. (HINT: After greasing pan, sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons cornmeal to make a crisp crust.)
