KATY'S PORK CHOPS 
Best if done with thin pork chops.

1 tbsp. cooking oil
6 pork chops
1 cup onion, peeled and chopped

SAUCE:

1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Add oil to frying pan and heat to medium. Place the pork chops in the frying pan and brown on both sides. Transfer browned chops to a roasting pan.

Scatter chopped onion over the chops in the roaster.

Measure all sauce ingredients into the bowl. Stir. Pour over the chops and onions. Cover the roaster with its lid.

Bake on the center rack at 350°F for about 1 hour until the meat is tender.

Makes 3 servings (or 6 small servings).
