MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. regular vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
3/4 c. salad oil
1 green onion, minced
1 1/2 lb. flank steak

Mix soy sauce, honey and vinegar; blend in garlic powder and ginger. Add oil and green onion. Place steak in shallow pan; cover with marinade. Let stand for a minimum of 4 hours (the longer, the better). Cook steak on a grill (medium fire) for 5 minutes on each side for medium rare, basting occasionally with marinade.

Serves 4.
