MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
2 (1 to 1 1/2 lbs.) flank steaks
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano

With a fork, mash together the garlic and salt. Combine remaining ingredients. Add garlic and salt mixture. Score meat 1/4 inch deep in a diamond pattern. Rub marinade on both sides. Wrap in plastic wrap overnight. Grill 5 minutes on each side for rare, 8 minutes for medium. Slice diagonally and serve warm or chilled.
