CARROTS IN HONEY SAUCE | |
1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. water 12 carrots 1/3 c. honey 1 tsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. oil Combine water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add carrots, continue to boil 5 minutes, reduce heat; cover and cook until tender; drain. Cook and stir remaining ingredients in skillet until bubbly. Add the carrots. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, uncovered over low heat. Stir occasionally until carrots are glazed. |
