CHOCOLATE PECAN BALLS 
1 1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add gradually. Blend in nuts. Chill until dough is firm. Form dough into balls and place about 1/2 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Roll in sifted confectioners' sugar. Give a generous coating.
