2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
2 c. chopped pecans

Mix sugar, Karo syrup and water. Cook until drop in water forms hard ball. Pour hot mixture very slowly into eggs, beating constantly. Add vanilla and chopped pecans and beat until mixture thickens. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
