DUTCH APPLE PIE | |
9-inch baking shell Filling: 6 to 8 apples 2 tbsp. flour 3/4 c. sugar dash of salt Topping: 2/3 c. all-purpose flour 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. butter Core and pare apples. Thinly slice into bowl. Add flour, sugar and salt. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. For topping, combine flour and sugar in bowl. Cut in butter and mix until consistency of course cornmeal. Cover pie with topping and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. |
