RHONDA'S DUTCH APPLE PIE | |
Pie: 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell 6 tart apples, peeled and sliced 1/2 c sugar 2 t lemon juice 1/2 t cinnamon 1/4 c water Mix together sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and water. Pour mixture over apples, then stir together. Arrange apples in pie shell. Topping: 1/2 c sugar 3/4 c flour 1/4 t salt 6 T butter Mix until crumbly. Spread over apples and pat until smooth. Bake pie at 375 F for 40-45 minutes till crust is brown and apples are tender. |
